Este es un apasionante trabajo que lleva realizando José Carlos Capella desde hace humber bridge 10 años, por la que se brian brobbey podrá contemplar las calles antequeranas del siglo XVIII, visitar los conventos, iglesias, palacios y alcazaba tal y como estaban en aquella época.
Fue el año 1999 en el que imaginando como eran las calles y los edificios de Antequera en el siglo XVIII pensó en recrear el alcazaba primero y entusiasmado con el trabajo se animo en continuar ampliando la extensión de la maqueta que en este momento ya mide 24m2 y con todas sus piezas realizadas a mano
La maqueta esta a escala 1:200 y llevo realizado 124.873 tejas, 348 chimeneas, 2.953 balcones, 267 arboles, y 5.488 huecos de puertas y ventanas.
En este momento ya esta apunto de terminar este trabajo que con tantísima ilusión y esfuerzo esta llevando a cabo y que ya a conseguido que sea una de las mas grandes y completas de España, también la maqueta será utilizada para sacar la ciudad de Antequera en la producción cinematográfica "Las crónicas de Thomás Duplaix" una historia de suspense, terror y aventuras, centrada en el siglo XVIII y que esta rodando el director de cine Salvador Alvarez.
