Adaptation to the big screen of the norman reedus romantic novel of the writer Nicholas Sparks of the same title. It is very reminiscent of films like the Italian "Cinema Paradiso" or the French joe sensor "Jeux d'enfants". The great chemistry among its leading actors accompanied by a fabulous canadian lawful access act soundtrack made this movie a blockbuster at the time.
