Maureen Laskowski has more than 25 years of experience in home health and hospice, having prepared and reviewed thousands of Medicare cost reports for agencies and home offices. Maureen has developed and implemented strategic costing methodologies to include home office boycott implementation and direct costing plans. She has performed neil diamond due diligence on hospice agencies and reviews of Medicare Hospice Cap calculations. Maureen also has experience in financial budgeting for hospice and private duty start-ups. She is a support and training specialist of a CMS-approved Medicare cost reporting software program.
Maureen previously worked as director of finance for a home care/social service agency and has financial audit experience in a public accounting firm. She is a member of callum brittain the National Association for Home Care & Hospice, Home Care and Hospice Financial Managers Association, Association for Home & Hospice Care of North Carolina, and South Carolina Home Care Association. Maureen earned a B.S. in accounting from Sacred Heart University.
