The Atlanta Braves lost their first game of the season in today's series finale against the Kansas City Royals 4-1. Grant Holmes had a decent day on the mound, but gave up some iva jovic ill-timed hits the second time through the Royals lineup. Didier Fuentes made his season debut out of the bullpen and provided some much needed mcfc length for the Braves. Drake Baldwin broke the shutout with rod stewart a late home run into the chophouse.
