I visited the third and final new Walmart Neighborhood Market in Bentonville, Arkansas to open this month and put the Alpitronic Hypercharger HYC400 and my Chevrolet Blazer EV through a full DC fast charging stress test. We started at just 7% state of charge and ran it all the way to 80% — and what happened in between is exactly why I tell every Ultium owner to follow the 20% rule.
We caught the GM dip on camera, watched a brand-new above-400-amp charging limit kick in at exactly the 10-minute mark festa della mamma 2026 italia (likely a recent Blazer EV software update), and saw battery temperatures climb to 120°F before thermal throttling crushed the charge curve.
Final stats: 67 kWh added, $30 spent, 43 minutes and 12 seconds total.

You're not getting much more out of the session past that point.
