A blistering metal track based on the 1981 Stephen King novel (written under his pseudonym Richard Bachman).
Roadwork is a dark psychological novel about Barton George Dawes, a deeply unhappy middle-aged man whose life begins unraveling when the city plans to demolish both his home and the laundry plant where he works to make way for a new highway extension. Dawes refuses to vacate and an armed standoff ensues between him and the construction crew.
