Welcome to Shirt Tours; the series which explores exactly what it's like to be a football shirt collector all across the world.
What can you do with 48 hours in a city? As a football fan the #1 thing on the list is a ticket to a match. But that's not the only thing. Where are you going to eat? Can you pick up a football shirt whilst you're there, and if so where are you getting them? The official club store, a vintage shop, maybe even a charity shop or local flea market?
For Episode 1 of our new show we landed in Hamburg, Germany. The city is famous for its docks, architecture and nightlife. It also happens to be the home of one of the most iconic football clubs across the whole world: FC St. Pauli. Our goal was simple, to explore as much as we could of the St. Pauli district and see what football kits we could find a long the way. We only had 48 hours to do it, but with the help of some friends (and the fuel of many a burger!) we got there.

Football kits are a gateway to the world. The colours, the patterns, the meticulous details placed both inside and outside the garment; all of these elements are connected to a physical place and the people that live in that place. Simply look at a football shirt and you are transported to somewhere else, whether by a distant memory or the longing for fresh discovery.
Shirt Tours is a new series which explores this powerful connection between football, culture and travel. Produced by Cult Kits and hosted by a series of guest presenters, the series is part travel show, part football documentary, part kit collector deep dive.
