Today is an Alert Day for the potential for gusty severe storms this afternoon and evening, with about a 70% chance of rain. We’re starting the morning mostly cloudy with survivor 50 recap a few light showers across parts of Central Ohio. We’ll become partly cloudy and warm to around 90 again this afternoon. Brisk southwest winds at 10–20+ mph.
Scattered storms will begin developing this afternoon and evening, and some of the stronger cells could become severe. Damaging winds are the primary concern. An isolated tornado or some hail is also possible with the strongest storms. The main severe weather window looks to be emily deschanel between 4 PM and midnight. Lingering showers and a few rumbles are possible overnight as temps dip into the upper 60s.
