The video shows the timelapse of the hantavirus (HPS) by map in the USA from 1993 to 2018. It was first discovered during the Korean War in the 1950s and have been reported from all continents except Oceania.
Hantaviruses are a family child support of viruses spread mainly by rodents and can cause varied disease syndromes in people worldwide. Infection with any hantavirus can produce hantavirus disease in people. Hantaviruses in the Americas are known as “New World” hantaviruses and may cause hantavirus pulmonary syndrome (HPS). Other hantaviruses, known as “Old World” hantaviruses, bbai stock are found mostly in Europe and Asia and may cause hemorrhagic fever with brandt snedeker renal syndrome (HFRS).
