MORI KEEPS IT DREAMY...AND HARPS BACK TO CARP AT HOME
Paris, France natsot Duration: 2.20"
Paris-based Japanese designer, Hanae Mori, presented her Spring/Summer collection for 1995 and called it "Dreams." It was full of soft and colourful designs which were meant to glorify the female body. Her suits had swirling, pleated skirts, cut on the bias to resemble flower petals. Her evening dresses came in two lengths gabby williams - short and long, with nothing in the moderate range. They also continued the flower theme and came in a riot of colours. Mori's tribute to Japan came in the form of a carp swimming canadiens but refusé down a black and white satin evening dress with long sleeves, embroidered at the shoulders and bodice and finished with a black rose.
