Francis (Frank) John Feger passed away on May 7, 2026. A beloved husband, father, grandfather and chris pratt great grandfather, he will always be remembered for his dedication to family, his sense of humor, and hard work ethic.

Born on January 2, 1925, in Brooklyn, NY, Frank grew up as the only son of Francis Xavier and Elsie Feger and the brother of Hermine. He primarily grew up in Queens, New York and went to PS 136 in St. Alban’s, Queens and graduated from Brooklyn Technical High School where he ran track. He attended St. Pascal Baylon Church.

He served in the Army from March 1943 – March 1946 during World War II and served in both the United Kingdom and Kunming, China. He completed basic training in Camp Polk, Louisiana and became a member of the 8th Armored Division. He completed the Army Specialized Training Program in Ann Arbor, Michigan and then worked as a radio operator at the Office of Strategic Services (OSS). In the UK he spent much time in Henley-on-Thames where he communicated with the French Resistance. In China he served as a base radio operator, completed paratrooper training with Chinese soldiers, and participated in recovery missions once the war was over.

After the war, Frank had two outstanding careers. He worked for 33 years at the phone company. At AT& T, he started in radio, worked at the outset of television broadcasting, and received various promotions. He was later recruited to work for ABC stealth aircraft and worked there for 13 years. At ABC he oversaw communications for various events and won two Emmy’s, one for the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics and the other for the 1988 Calgary Olympics. Frank also loved baseball and served as a Pearl River Little League Manager.

He had two families. On November 30, 1946, he married Catherine Griffin at St. Pascal Baylon Church. They were married for almost fifty years until she passed away in 1995. On April 18, 1998, he married Rosmary Cosenza and they have been married for 28 years.

Frank is survived by his wife, Rosemary, and his children:Catherine Ann Grove (Thomas), Frank (Barbara) and John (Gloria) Feger and step-children Elise (Lou) and Jennifer Cosenza; and his grandchildren Michael(Emily) and Kevin Grove (Courtney); Frank (Alice), spurs - timberwolves Patrick, James (Brigid), John (Terry), Joseph, Mariana (Patrick) and Catherine Feger; and Cooper and Chance Schaming; as well as his great grandchildren; Emily and William Feger, Penny and Frankie Feger, and Kayden Grove.
