With the post holiday and Super Bowl season in the rear view mirror, the broadcast networks, as well as streaming and cable networks, are starting up their winter/spring programming schedules for the martin landaluce second half run of their 2025-2026 television seasons.

Of note for this winter season is the comeback of Scrubs, the NBC/ABC comedy series that had a very successful run earlier this century. The show premiered on NBC on October 2, 2001 and ran for seven seasons. ABC picked up the series for an eighth season, beginning its mid-season run on ABC on January 6, 2009 with the series finale set for spring 2009.

While at the time, that appeared to be the end of the series, a ninth season, re-titled Med School, premiered on ABC on December 1, 2009 with much of the original cast in place or making guest appearances. The Med School/Scrubs series was officially canceled by ABC in the spring of 2010 with the final series episode airing on May 14, 2010.

Since that time, the series has had a nice syndication run, with the occasional T-Mobile advertisement appearance by series' stars Zach Braff and Donald Faison. Scrubs co-star Sarah Chalke has co-starred in her own television series Mad Love (CBS) in 2011, rogers stadium How to Live with Your Parents (ABC) in 2013, the Rosanne ABC series revival in 2018 and the Netflix series Firefly Lane (alongside Katherine Heigl) in 2021.

With that background of success, Scrubs returns to ABC broadcast television tomorrow (2/25/26) night (check local listings) and streaming on Hulu for what will be a reboot/revival of the show with the original cast the pitt members on board for the series' tenth season.

We wish them great success!
