They say that every time Deus Ex is mentioned, somebody re-installs it. After finishing my first full playthrough of the game, I can see why. The writing, the atmosphere, the voicework, the music, and the janky gameplay with a sprinkle of charm: What’s not to like about it? But there is one thing above all that it excels at, philosophy.
