A major milestone has been reached with IndiGo officially opening commercial ticket bookings for the Noida International Airport (DXN) starting May 7, 2026, ahead of the grand commercial launch on June 15, 2026. The inaugural flight, operating under flight number 6E 2278, will connect Lucknow to Jewar Airport, landing at exactly 8:05 AM, followed immediately by a departure to Bengaluru at 8:35 AM. This flight network is set to expand rapidly, with plans to introduce direct flights to over 16 domestic destinations by July 2026, including Jammu, Hyderabad, and Amritsar, establishing DXN as a premier regional aviation hub. To ensure seamless last-mile connectivity, the Greater Noida Authority is launching 15 eco-friendly electric buses across four dedicated routes linking crucial residential, industrial, and medical hubs directly to the airport.
