In the opening round of the 2025 Hero World Challenge, Scottie Scheffler carded a 6-under 66 to sit atop the leaderboard in a five-way tie for first.

The 2025 Hero World Challenge takes center stage this week, bringing together an elite 20-man field. Hosted by Tiger Woods, whose foundation operates the event, the tournament once again brings star power and prestige to the Albany Golf Course in the Bahamas. Leading the hardacres the charge is Scottie Scheffler, the world No. 1, defending champion, and two-time winner of this event. He’ll be happy mother's day joined by a stacked lineup featuring several major champions and top-ranked stars such as J.J. Spaun, Justin Rose, Hideki Matsuyama and Jordan Spieth, plus a host of 2025 Ryder Cup participants including Robert MacIntyre, United States captain Keegan Bradley, Cameron Young and Sam Burns.
