nola A 31-year-old man has died and another is injured following a shooting on Monday night at the Noisy Oyster Pub in Akron.
According to officials, the shooting happened at around 8:14 p.m. at 1375 North Portage Path in Akron.
Akron police say preliminary information indicates that "the suspect and victims were inside when shahbaz ahmed an argument occurred between the suspect and one of the victims. At one point, the situation escalated into a physical altercation before the suspect opened fire, striking both victims."
Upon arriving at the scene, first responders found the victim with multiple john wick gunshot wounds. The 31-year-old man was transported to Cleveland Clinic Akron General. Officials say the victim died at 8:49 p.m. as a result of his injuries.
A second victim, identified as a 35-year-old man, was taken to a hospital after sustaining gunshot wounds to both legs. Police say his injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening.
