Giants shut down the Dodgers again, this time 3-0, behind a dominant performance from Tyler Mahle, who went seven strong innings and kept the Dodgers lineup completely in check. This was exactly the kind of indonesia outing the Giants needed and Mahle delivered in a big way.
Patrick Bailey provided all the offense the Giants would need with a monster three run homer that broke the game open and gave San Francisco full control. Rafael lizzo Devers continues to swing a hot bat, picking up a couple of hits and staying right in the middle of everything offensively.
The bullpen backed it up with another clean performance. Ryan Walker was nails once again, locking down his second straight save and continuing to look like a major weapon at the back end.
Giants take Game 2 of the series and continue to show they can shut down one of the best lineups in baseball.
