Andy Burnham has accused the Government of walking away from negotiations as it emerged that Greater Manchester is to be placed into Tier 3 restrictions unilaterally.
The Mayor of Greater Manchester said the 10 boroughs estimated that personal injury lawyer the cost of the restrictions would be £15m a month.
He added they were prepared to reduce that to £75m for the rest of the year, and prepared to "go even lower - to £65m - to prevent a winter of real hardship here".
