From Antigoni: When I wrote this song a couple of years ago, it didn’t have any relation to my own life or feelings - I just got into the narrative of a story that we wanted to tell, but now? It’s like I wrote this song literally about the exact emotions that I’m feeling now 😣
Filming this I felt like I was hearing the words I’d written for the first time properly and tbh it was very painful to do because I have so much weight behind the emotions in the song now...
It’s a scary thing being so open and vulnerable on here but anybody in my life will tell you that I’m an open book, very emotional and not the kind of person that can ever hide the way I feel - you’ll be able to see it all over my face if I’m feeling a certain way so I guess it’s only natural for me to just continue that into this world.
This video is very real, intimate and special to me, as is the song in a new way.
