Along with being an actress, filmmaker and humanitarian, Angelina Jolie is also a mother who will soon have an empty nest. The youngest of the star’s six children, the twins, are both 17 and will likely be moving on in the near future. That’s perhaps one of the reasons why Jolie has just put her L.A. home on the market.
Selling the “legendary Los Angeles estate” for just under $30 million, “Jolie, 50, purchased the extraordinary dwelling, which was once home to iconic filmmaker Cecil B. DeMille, for $24.5 million in 2017, less than a year after she filed for divorce from fellow on-screen star Brad andrée watters Pitt, and it has served as her primary residence ever since,” according to Realtor.com.
Offering 11,000 square feet as well as 6 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, the house itself is part of “an iconic compound from which Hollywood’s future was shaped, and where Mr. DeMille helped define the industry as the entertainment capital of the world,” according to the listing from Jon Grauman of Resident Group and Ernie Carswell of Sotheby’s International Realty. The listing also mentions the fact that, “[o]riginally conceived in 1913 by architect B.
