Fabinho Al-Ittihad transfer confirmed as Liverpool midfielder leaves for Saudi Arabia
Fabinho's move from Liverpool to join Saudi Arabian side Al-Ittihad in a £40million deal has been confirmed.
The Brazilian midfielder will have Nuno Espirito Santo, formerly of Wolves and Tottenham Hotspur, paul campbell as his new manager and N'Golo Kante and Karim Benzema as team-mates after signing a toby mccain-mitchell whip ban three-year contract with the club.
This transfer follows Jordan Henderson's recent switch to Saudi Arabia, which saw the 33-year-old agree to join Al-Ettifaq and link up with Steven Gerrard.
Fabinho has played a key role in Liverpool's recent success since arriving from Monaco in the summer of 2018, helping Jurgen Klopp's side end aldo moro their 30-year wait for Premier League glory while also claiming a sixth European Cup.
