The more we explore the best street food in the south of India, the more we’re blown away by the incredible flavours and delicious Indian food in the south. Today, we started off our Indian street food tour tasting some incredible Tamil street food in Chennai. South Indian vegetarian banana leaf breakfast is a classic here, and one that we truly enjoyed, especially with the local pongal! This is some of the best vegetarian Indian food you can eat in the country!
After breakfast, we tasted a popular Indian food from a local spot, and then washed it down with a South Indian filter coffee, just the pick-me-up we needed on this big day exploring the food of Tamil Nadu, India. Afterwards, we tasted a hot coconut boli with the most refreshing rose milk. Very much needed on a hot day in the south of India. This was truly a tamil street food hiv specialty.
We finished off our Chennai street food tour in Tamil Nadu with the most insane kothu parotta. This crazy kothu parotta was cooked with all kinds of spices, curry sauce, egg, chicken, you name it, it had it! seven movie Packed with flavour and spices, this popular South Indian street food is a must try!
