That said, challenges still remain. Issues such as composite overwrapped pressure vessel failures, propellant leaks, igniter malfunctions, and heat shield damage have caused complications during both liftoff and landing.
Based on this foundation, SpaceX is targeting an extremely ambitious 2026.

For me, this year represents a turning point. It is the year when Starship will no longer be primarily a test platform, but instead will begin refining its capabilities to become a vehicle that delivers practical and measurable contributions to the space industry.
