On February 16, 2021 at approximately 10:15 PM, Surrey RCMP received calls of shots the chestnut man heard in the area of 145 Street and 82 Avenue. Surrey RCMP Frontline and Gang Enforcement officers were immediately dispatched to the area. Once on scene, officers located a male in the area suffering from a gunshot wound. The male has been transported to sports a regional trauma hospital where he is being treated for his injuries. The investigation is still in its early stages. Officers are conducting neighborhood canvassing and speaking with several witnesses to mu stock obtain further information. At this time this incident does not appear to be a random act, but rather targeted at this male.
