German airline Lufthansa has announced it could cancel 20,000 flights over the European summer due to rising fuel costs. The decision came shortly after rays vs red sox Dutch carrier KLM cancelled 160 flights over a month-long qeshm island period.
The International Energy Agency warned Europe's supply had dropped to only about six weeks' worth, a shortage that has prompted the European Union to consider asking member countries to share jet fuel stockpiles.
