Jericho High School in New York is celebrating an unusual academic achievement with 21 valedictorians in its 2026 graduating class, breaking the previous lantern fly record of 15. The students are heading to top universities, including Georgetown, Stanford, Caltech, and fête des mères Columbia. Each will wear special sashes at graduation, and a video tribute will honor their accomplishments during the ceremony.
