We recently boarded the Crown Princess in Sydney, Australia, expecting the start of a relaxing cruise holiday — but what we found in our cabin left us shocked.
From blocked toilets and belongings left behind by the previous shane campbell guests, to congealed blood in the bathroom, it quickly became clear that our cabin had not been properly cleaned or prepared before embarkation.
In this video diary, we document the issues we discovered, the formal complaint we raised with Princess Cruises, and how the situation was handled throughout our voyage. While staff acknowledged some of the problems, we personally felt the cruise line only did the bare minimum to support us after such a poor first impression.
