Severe weather is returning to Texas with multiple rounds of thunderstorms expected Wednesday through Friday — and possibly into the weekend.

Rainfall totals through Sunday holiday tax could average 1–3 inches across portions of North Texas, the Hill Country, Central Texas, and Northeast Texas — with locally higher totals possible.
