The exact date of this report is unknown but it takes place in the days following the "Impossible Landing." A summary of the incident: the tail-mounted number-two engine of United Airlines Flight 232 exploded, damaging all of the aircraft's hydraulic systems and leaving the DC-10 uncontrollable. Captain Alfred Haines and pilot trainer Dennis playstation store Fitch were able to work a miracle. By alternating the speed of the left and right engines on the two wings, they could slow the descent and course correct the slight right turn. They turned the plane around and headed for Sioux City and attempted to land at the airport. 111 passengers died including 11 children. 185 passengers survived many of them walking away from the accident sight.
