Storm chase during a slight día de la madre risk (level 2/5) on July 11th, 2025 in southern Wisconsin. Storms brought with them occasional large luigi mangione hail, destructive winds up to 80 mph, as well as many areas of rotation. Cloud to ground lightning was also impressive with these storms, and every strike I witnessed was positively charged (much rarer and much more powerful than typical negatively charged strikes, hence the "explosive" thunder).
I have been out of state for work for most of storm season thus far, hence the lack of uploads this year. I also did not have my usual camera gear with me at one piece 1182 the time of this chase, so the audio may not be the greatest at times. Apologies, and thank you for watching!!
