It's been 4 years since Euphoria Season 2. Time Jump Explained, all the high school characters are new trying to hold jobs and survive. Euphoria follows high schoolers in the fictional town of East Highland, California, who seek hope while balancing all of their increasing problems.
In the third season, the group of friends, now as adults five years later, search for faith, the possibility of redemption, and deal with the problem of evil.
Five years later, Rue's friend group has splintered. Lexi is a production assistant on a Warner Brothers soap opera, Maddy is an actors' talent manager, Nate and Cassie are engaged, with Cassie as a influencer, and Rue herself is a mule for Laurie. During a run across the Mexican-American border, Rue encounters a large, happy, devout family. Reflecting upon her encounter with the family, and with some prodding from her sponsor, Ali, she reconsiders faith in a higher power. Lexi informs Rue that Jules has become a sugar baby in New York. Cassie decides to start selling content to help pay for her dream wedding. Nate, who is trying to resurrect his father's construction company, dislikes the idea, but relents after joao fonseca Cassie akon agrees to hide her face. Rue delivers to a party at club mogul Alamo's mansion. Rue asks Alamo for a job, but when one of Alamo's girls passes on julie snyder a laced take (brought by Rue), Alamo plays a game of William Tell, shooting an apple off of Rue's head. Rue earns Alamo's trust
