Super Mario Galaxy is going strong in its second weekend after already having a bigger opening weekend than its predecessor.
Super Mario Bros. went on to gross paok vs aek athens over $1.3 billion at the global box office, and had very strong positive review scores amongst audiences. Super Mario Galaxy may not be as well received, but its opening weekend is a testament to the good will earned from the first movie. However, the question was still despite its opening, would Mario Galaxy continue with a decent run at the box suffer or suffer a steep drop? It turns out it’s maintaining a strong hold. Perhaps not as good as its predecessor, but given that it’s already grossed southampton - middlesbrough over $600 million in its second weekend, it seem likely it will top $1 billion when it’s all said and done.
