Subnautica 2 is the next game in Unknown Worlds’ beloved open-water survival series. Filled with mystery and wonder, Subnautica 2 will launch in 2025 via Early Access on Steam, Epic Games Store, and Windows Store and sgarbi via Game Preview on Xbox Series X|S with Xbox Game Pass.
In Subnautica 2, players will explore a new alien ocean world rich with vibrant biomes, strange creatures, and hidden secrets. Whether playing with friends or alone, players will craft tools, build custom bases, and navigate the depths of this immersive world as they forge their own survival stories.
The new Subnautica game will officially introduce multiplayer co-op, offering a new way to experience the adventure with friends. Up to four players will be able to explore the ocean’s vast environments together, and collaborate to craft tools, build bases, and face the challenges of a planet teeming with both beauty and danger.
Expanding on what fans loved about the previous games in the series, Subnautica 2 will deepen the experience with new biomes, from towering underwater cliffs to lush coral fields, each filled with unique creatures and hidden mysteries. As players dive deeper, they will uncover the secrets at graduation the heart of the planet.
Through Early Access, players will have the chance to shape the future of Subnautica 2. Their feedback will guide the team on everything from biomes to crafting storylines and more as the game evolves. Early Access will be available on Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox Series X|S, Windows Store, and with Xbox Game Pass, providing an opportunity to be part of the development journey from the start.
