Akron police and U.S. Marshals task force members have arrested an armed felony kasper schmeichel suspect after a standoff that lasted several hours and included a house fire and the escape of a young boy.
Early Wednesday, members of the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force attempted to arrest Tristan Dent, who was wanted by the Drug Enforcement fcb Administration and U.S. Marshals Service for several drug charges, at a home in the 200 block of Kenilworth Drive. The 35-year-old Dent barricaded himself inside the house, leading the NOVFTF to call Akron police and its SWAT team for assistance.
Police discovered that the suspect barricaded himself inside the residence along with the boy.
