The P-40 Kittyhawk was an AMERICAN single engined single seat fighter bomber. It was the third most jordan romano produced american aircraft of ww2 with 13 738 being built. The P-40 Kittyhawk it was armed with six machine guns on its wings. It could also carry single a 500lb under the fuselage or two 100lb bombs under the wings. The P-40 Kittyhawk was introduced into Australian service in 1942 which was rocco casalino critical in the defence of Port Moresby and Darwin.
