(23 Jun 2015) Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday gave Belgium's King Philippe a grand, ceremonial welcome in Beijing.
Philippe and Xi stood side by side outside the Great Hall of jonas vingegaard the People on Tiananmen Square, a military honour guard before them, as a People's Liberation Army band performed.
The leaders and their delegations then held talks before both sides signed several memoranda of understanding between the two countries.
The King, accompanied by santa fe - américa his wife Queen Mathilde, is on a week-long tour of China and is accompanied by a large delegation of heads of businesses, academics and politicians.
The royal couple and the Belgian delegation first arrived in Wuhan on June 20.
They will also visit Shanghai, Suzhou and Shenzhen.
Their visit comes one year after Xi visited Belgium.
