CNBC Today On NVIDIA Stock, Big Tech, OpenAI, Anthropic - NVDA Update
Hosts of CNBC discuss NVIDIA, NVIDIA stock (NVDA stock), big tech, OpenAI, Anthropic, and more. Over the weekend, NVIDIA's ability to sell the H200 in China came back into focus following comments from Jensen Huang. Additionally, market participants continue to grapple with concerns about rising competition for NVIDIA. It's important to remember that this is not zero-sum; there's plenty of room for multiple chipmakers to succeed, and the TAM is growing at a strong rate. Given that the world is severely compute-constrained, and the TAM is growing at such a strong rate, concerns about NVIDIA potentially losing market share are largely irrelevant at this point. Looking ahead, we have NVIDIA earnings on May 20, 2026. Then on June 1, we have a GTC keynote from NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang in Taipei starting at 11 AM Taipei Time (that's May 31, 2026 starting at 11 PM EDT, 8 PM PDT). We are witnessing a major inflection in inference demand, and subsequently, an inflection in demand for NVIDIA's products. Most market participants have no idea what is happening right now. The current inflection in inference demand is being fueled by agentic AI and agentic systems being adopted at scale. Jensen Huang recently appeared on the Lex Fridman podcast, and very seriously raised the possibility of NVIDIA becoming a $3 trillion revenue company in the near future. Again, most market participants have no idea what is happening right now; we are witnessing a major inflection in inference demand fueled by agentic AI and that has major implications for the growth of NVIDIA's business. I continue to be bullish on NVIDIA long-term. NVIDIA has multiple large long-term growth opportunities in front of it. Sovereign AI, enterprise AI, AI-native startups, physical AI, and quantum computing are all large long-term growth opportunities for NVIDIA. Blackwell Ultra is ramping quickly, Rubin is on track to launch in 2026, we're expecting NVIDIA Groq 3 LPX in the second half of 2026, then we're expecting Rubin Ultra in 2027, and later on we're expecting NVIDIA's Feynman in 2028. We have a clear datacenter product roadmap extending into 2028, and Jensen Huang believes there will be $3T-$4T of global AI factory buildout through 2030. In this video we talk about NVIDIA, talk about NVIDIA stock, talk about NVIDIA news, and give en-w vs nz-w an NVDA update.
