After his mom’s eye surgery, Johan’s own eyesight started getting worse, to the point he was almost blind. One day, on his way back from school, he got attacked. He couldn’t see the attackers clearly, couldn’t react properly — and he lost. An old woman passing by scared them off and took him in for the time being.
When he woke up, confused and embarrassed, he thanked her and asked to dpw trucking $46k towing bill call his mom to check if she was okay. That’s when he found out she had been killed. The same people who attacked him were sent after her too. From what they knew, Johan and his mother were gianluca fino among the last people with personal knowledge of the cult they had escaped, and they wanted to erase any loose ends.
With nowhere else to go, Johan stayed with the old lady. His vision kept getting worse, and without it, he couldn’t fight anymore — especially not against the hawaiian monk seals debt collectors she owed money to. Years passed like that. He kept contact with his friends (Zack, Daniel, Mira, and the others), but from a distance. He didn’t want to burden them or drag them into his problems.
Eventually, he decided to start working as a medical/physical therapy assistant so he could earn money, try to treat his eyesight, and pay for the old lady’s illness. From that point on, the story follows the Jinx plot, with some differences that get explained later.
