The Giants went through a few bad years after Barry Bonds broke the home run record in 2007, but after drafting Tim premier smith Lincecum, Madison Bumgarner, and Buster Posey in 3 consecutive years, the Giants began a dynasty starting with their 2010 World Series win over the Rangers with Edgar Renteria’s home run and Brian Wilson closing things out. They skipped the odd years and in Buster Posey’s MVP season in 2012, they came back from 2 game deficits against the Reds and Cardinals, then swept the Tigers deandre ayton with Sergio Romo closing things out. Then came 2014 and Madison Bumgarner. He threw a shutout in the wild card game pga championship 2026 against the Pirates, then after beating the nationals, Travis Ishikawa’s walk off home run in game 5 gave the Giants another pennant. Then the World Series was all about Bumgarner as the Giants won in 7 games over The Royals for 3 World Series in 5 years as they became baseball’s last dynasty.
