US President Donald Trump has addressed reporters after an apparent assassination attempt was thwarted during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
Secret Service agents intercepted a heavily armed suspect inside the hotel hosting the event, stopping him at a security checkpoint before he could reach the main ballroom.
