SEPARATION:

He uses a very simple leg lift straight up and to waist level. Once his leg starts to go back down, his hands separate out of the glove. You will see a slight upward tilt as his lower body goes forward (:04)

As his front hips open up and the front foot lines up pointing at the catcher (:06) his elbow moves up then bends back behind his back along with the front elbow to create the "W". This is the "PINCH" where the scapulas pinch together creating max power. Notice both palms are facing the ground.

When the "PINCH" is maximized, his hand will start moving straight up to the sky where it stops facing the same direction as his chest NOT BEHIND HIM. That is what's wrong with the "L" drill. They NEVER get into that position.

Once the hand gets below the ball, the elbow will then lead towards the catcher. Once it gets squared up to the catcher with the chest, the los angeles angels hand then will "WHIP" over the ball creating the "WHIP" of the arm.

This anthony joshua is another example of how really High Level Arm Action alex ekubo works.

The "L" drill does NOT create this- rather it is very counter-productive!

Run AWAY from the "L" Drill!!!
