During the legendary Basler Fasnacht, dozens of Guggenmusiken – carnival marching bands – parade through the streets of Basel playing powerful brass arrangements, energetic rhythms and carnival classics. The unique sound of Guggenmusik – a mix of trumpets, trombones, tubas and drums – fills the old town with unforgettable music.
