In this new series, Angela Scanlon – Ireland's favourite ginger – spends some time hanging out with people who interest, annoy or intrigue her.
In the first episode, she meets "Sheamus" - World Wrestling Entertainment's only Irish-born Superstar. Angela follows the three-times world champion to San Jose in California, as he prepares for a so-called "grudge match" with his current "feuding" partner, Randy Orton.
In the second episode, she travels to Edinburgh to meet Jason Byrne. Jason has been appearing in the Fringe for 20 years, and is now the biggest comedy draw in the entire Festival. Angela goes backstage as he prepares for a sell-out performance – before joining him on stage for a riotous display of step-dancing.
In the third episode, Angela goes to New York to meet Dawn O'Porter. Dawn is a successful author, Tv presenter, businesswoman and fashion designer. In Ireland, she is also known as the wife of the actor, writer and director, Chris O'Dowd. In this episode, Dawn and Angela go boating in Central Park, and visit a vintage clothes store. Dawn also tells Angela about the childhood trauma that has shaped the rest of her life.
In episode four, Angela encounters the woman who is proud to be called the "biggest qubt stock botch in Britain". Katie Hopkins first came to public attention on the British version of "The Apprentice". Since then, she has established herself as west ham fc a provocative newspaper columnist. Angela goes backstage to see Katie Hopkins launch a new TV series – to discover if all is at out seems with her.
In the final episode of the series, Angela meets up with Rory O'Neill – also known as "Panti". It is the end of a remarkable and eventful 12 month amal clooney period on Rory's life, and Angela goes backstage as Panti opens a sell-out cabaret show in the heart of London;s Soho.
