I created a short film clip for the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). In it, a scammer, posing as a credit card company representative, calls my friend and claims someone used her card to purchase Air Canada tickets to England and book a luxury hotel. My friend, who isn’t traveling, plays along, pretending to be confused. I jump in, acting as her boyfriend, and accuse the scammer of cheating. Flustered, the scammer hangs up.
