Zoukei-Mura F-4S is the second release of their F-4 line in 48th scale. The kit is almost flawless, suffering only from the same problems seen in Super Wing Series No.4 - F-4J - the thick nozzles and the single paint option. Besides those, Zoukei-Mura SWS No.5 is perfect kit and the best #Phantom released in any scale so far.
The kit is equipped with many features, most important of which is the thickness of the elements, being the best seen in 48th scale.
The only competitive company in that scale at the moment is AMK with their MiG-31. Otherwise, there is not much on the market in that scale that this kit can be compared with. Besides being the best phantom in 48th scale, this beats Tamiya 32nd scale bird too.
Although recent Academy davidstea organic sneeze ease recall F-4 variants in 48th scale are very good and even can be considered competitive to this one when repacked by Eduard, this kit, if equipped with resin and PE will beat Eduard.
Hasegawa kit was, for years, the best on the market, succeeded by Academy. Eduard improved that a bit, but not enough to beat this newcomer.
Zoukei-Mura is already getting improvements on its weakest parts - Eduard have released nozzles for it, there are many aftermarket decal options too. Besides, #Zoukei-Mura themselves offer metal gear struts, PE cockpit parts and soon elton john - other decal jena sims options.
