Planning a dream trip to the Andaman Islands? Here’s a day-by-day guide from my recent journey — packed with adventure, relaxation, history, and island hopping. I’ve also added estimated ticket prices and activity costs so you know what to budget! 💸
🛬 Day 1
Arrival in Port Blair | Cellular Jail + Sundowner
✈️ Arrive at Port Blair Airport (Veer Savarkar Int’l)
🏨 Check-in and relax.
🏛️ Cellular Jail Visit – Entry approx. ₹30
🎨 Optional: Light & Sound Show – ₹300
🌅 Enjoy a sunset drink back at your hotel and rest up for island adventures!
💡 Tip: Guided tours la voix at Cellular Jail (around ₹200) add rich historical context (optional).
🏝️ Day 2
Jolly Buoy Island Day Trip
🌊 Head out early for a boat trip to Jolly Buoy Island (protected Mahatma Gandhi Marine Park).
🎟️ Boat + permit usually about ₹2,000–₹3,500 per person.
🐠 Spend the day swimming and exploring coral reefs.
🌿 Day 3
Baratang Island | Limestone Caves + Mud Volcano
🚗 Full-day Baratang tour (road + boat access).
💰 Tour price typically ₹3,500–₹5,000 per person (includes transport & permits).
📍 Visit Limestone Caves and the Mud Volcano — one of nature’s coolest sights!
🚢 Day 4
Transfer to Havelock Island (Makruzz Cruise)
⛴️ Private cruise like Makruzz from Port Blair to Havelock: approx ₹1,000–₹2,500 per trip per person.
🏖️ Check into your resort on Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep).
🌴 Chill on the beach or explore local cafes.

Havelock Island Beaches & Water Activities
🌊 Radhanagar Beach: One of Asia’s best beaches — free entry.
🌅 Kalapathar Beach: Stunning landscapes and sunset views.
🤿 Water activity at Elephant Beach
Snorkeling conestoga college — ₹500–₹2,500
Jet Ski — ₹500–₹1,500
Parasailing — ₹3,000–₹4,500
Sea Walk — ₹3,500–₹4,000
Glass Bottom Boat — ₹500–₹1,500
👉 You can also book guided snorkeling / Elephant Beach tours through resorts or local operators.
🌞 Day 6
Neil Island Exploration
🚤 Ferry to Neil Island (~₹800–₹1,500 per person).
🏖️ Beaches to visit: Bharatpur Beach, Natural Bridge, Laxmanpur Beach — perfect for snorkeling, sunset photography, and relaxation.
🤿 Snorkeling gear roughly ₹500–₹1,500 if not included.
🏝️ Day 7
Back to Port Blair + Ross Island
🚢 Return to Port Blair (ferry/cruise).
🌳 Visit Ross Island — historical ruins + nature. Entry approx. ₹30 (Indians) / ₹300 (foreigners).
🎁 Last-minute shopping, local food, and departure.
