Today we are throwing it back a few months to rip open a 2025 Topps Update Baseball Blaster Box from Target. We manage to pull a beautiful "Rising Suns" Shohei Ohtani & Roki Sasaki card, plus some gorgeous Mystical inserts, but no numbered cards?! Is this the worst blaster box of the year? Let’s find out.

With Donruss Baseball pushed back, we decided to test our luck on a Target restock of Topps Update. While collectors are pulling absolute fire from the hanger boxes, these 7-pack retail blasters can be incredibly brutal. We go through every single pack checking out the rookie debuts, All-Star game holo foils, and the brand-new Mystical insert subset. We also dive into a funny Topps card error/design choice featuring miscut Lumber Kings and Rookie players inexplicably labeled as "Veteran Combos" (Looking at you, Roki!).

If you love honest, unfiltered sports card openings, hitting that Subscribe button helps the channel grow! Let me know in the comments: Have your Topps Update blasters been this bad, or did I just get incredibly unlucky?
