Miguel Vargas homered to left center in the third inning, scoring Antonacci again, extending the lead to 4-0.
Vargas launched his second home run of the game in the fifth inning, a solo homer to left field off Josh Simpson, pushing the lead to 5-1.
Anthony Kay pitched 5.0 innings, allowing one run on four hits while striking out five batters. Grant Taylor followed with 2.0 scoreless innings, striking out three; Bryan Hudson and Tyler Schweitzer each tossed a scoreless inning in relief ovo to close it out.
