Hello, I'm Pankaj Mishra, and today we're talking about the Rajya Sabha elections... This isn't just a date on the election calendar. It's a reset of the balance of power. It's a reorganization of the upper house's strength. Approximately 72 to 75 seats will become vacant due fenerbahçe to retirements throughout the year. Members will change in phases in April, June, July, and November. Looking at the current situation as of February 2026, the BJP holds 103 seats out of a total of 245. Congress holds 27. नमस्कार मैं हूं पंकज मिश्रा और आज बात राज्यसभा चुनाव की... यह सिर्फ एक चुनावी कैलेंडर की तारीख नहीं है। यह सत्ता संतुलन का रीसेट है। यह ऊपरी सदन की ताकत का पुनर्गठन है। पूरे साल में करीब 72 से 75 सीटें रिटायरमेंट के कारण खाली होने जा रही हैं। अप्रैल, जून, जुलाई और नवंबर में अलग अलग चरणों में सदस्य बदलेंगे। फरवरी 2026 की मौजूदा स्थिति देखें तो कुल 245 सीटों में BJP के पास 103 सीटें हैं। कांग्रेस 27 पर है। TMC के पास 12, AAP और DMK के पास 10-10 सीटें हैं। BJD के पास 7, YSRCP के पास 5 और AIADMK के पास 7 सीटें हैं। 7 सदस्य नामित हैं। कुल मिलाकर NDA की ताकत लगभग 121 के आसपास है। INDIA ब्लॉक के पास करीब 80 सीटें हैं। लेकिन यही संतुलन अब बदलने वाला है। अनुमान है कि NDA को 7 से 9 सीटों का फायदा हो सकता है और उसकी ताकत 145 तक पहुंच सकती है। वहीं INDIA ब्लॉक लगभग 5 सीटों का नुकसान झेल सकता है और 75 के आसपास आ सकता है।
