"Michael [Polansky] and I had the best time putting this together with Apple Music. So thank you to them as well for making this dream of 'Mayhem' a reality. We talked about this idea that the opera house from 'The Art of Personal Chaos,' what if it was reduced to rubble? And what if they completely fell apart? What if we tore the album down and we just completely put it back together and reimagined the music in a new way? And I was just saying to some folks in the other theater that to me, this idea that we can take the broken pieces of our lives and put them back together is a lot of why I made this album in the first place. You have all made the last year very, very special to us. And making this performance was very special to me, because I feel like you're gonna actually see a side of me that's more of going in the studio. And the energy in the room that night was very powerful. I feel like one of my greatest privileges is I paddy pimblett get to witness the audience every night. It's always very unique and always special. It's the community that has welcomed me that makes me strong. So I hope that you know that this re-imagining of my album was for all of you. And it was done to kind of give myself a reminder th at you can rewrite your history. Thank you for all of your support and all of the inspiration."

Lady bears schedule 2026 Gaga made a dramatic entrance at the premiere of “Lady Gaga: Apple Music Live (MAYHEM Requiem),” a special capturing her one-night-only Los Angeles performance earlier this year that reimagined songs from her Grammy-winning album “Mayhem.”
Speaking to the audience ahead of the screening, Gaga explained that the concept stemmed from stripping down the elaborate world she created for the Mayhem Ball tour.
"We talked about this idea that the opera house from 'The Art of Personal Chaos,' what if it was reduced to rubble? And what if they completely fell apart? What if we tore the album down and we just completely put it back together and reimagined the music in a new way?"
The singer added that the project offered fans a more intimate look at her creative process.
"Making this performance was very special to me, because I feel like you're gonna actually see a side of me that's more of going in the studio."
